Miss Scuba Queen USA To Compete At Miss Scuba International


Scuba Queen USA Rachel Cushman is off to compete for the Miss Scuba International crown in Sipadan, Mabul, Malaysia.

The competition is held over three weeks and will feature young women from over 25 countries. Contestants will represent their country in ocean conservation, safe diving practices, marine and environmental awareness. Events held during the competition include:

  • Scuba diving.
  • Conservation and environmental workshops.
  • Media and public speaking seminars and presentations.
  • Charitable events.
  • Catwalk training.

The competition also features:

  • A talent show.
  • Bathing suits, national dress, and formal wear.
  • Live Q&A on stage.

Cushman is an avid scuba diver and will be the only US representative at the competition. She is looking to help raise funds towards the costs of taking part in the competition.
