While attending the Blue Wild Ocean Adventure Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, DeeperBlue.com spoke with Andy Olday, the South Florida Regional Manager for NAUI Worldwide about the recent changes to the NAUI website and the introduction of the completely redesigned platform NAUI CORE.
CORE stands for Certifications; Online training; Resources; and Educational material. NAUI CORE is designed to accommodate a variety of users including NAUI members, affiliates, students, and anyone else interested in NAUI.
NAUI CORE provides a convenient hub to find the latest news about NAUI, manage your membership, access training resources, certify NAUI divers, complete online learning, and more.
Divers can create a free account on the NAUI WORLDWIDE website and if they have been certified with a NAUI affiliate, their information and certifications will automatically be added to their new profile.
From your NAUI account, you can do all this and more:
- Access NAUI eLearning courses
- Purchase NAUI products
- Locate a NAUI trainer
- Locate a NAUI facility
- Update your NAUI profile
- View your NAUI certifications
- Receive NAUI News and Updates
Olday explains that the goal is to unite the NAUI dive family globally. The new website is easier to navigate and gives both divers and dive professionals all the tools they need at their fingertips.
Instructors and dive professionals will have access to the full array of eLearning tools and educational material and be able to track and update student progress. Divers can use the easy-to-navigate popup menu options to see new course offerings, their current certifications, recommended information, take eLearning courses, purchase NAUI Education Systems (NES) modules, merchandise, and update their personal profiles.
Courses that include eLearning have a Launch eLearning button. Contact your nearest NAUI Dive Center or NAUI Professional to get your activation code.
