OriginECN Vertical Blue Live Stream Experiences Outage On Last Day

The Diveye camera system used to live-stream the OriginECN Vertical Blue Freediving Competition has experienced technical issues around the internet connection broadcasting the event to the public watching globally on Facebook.

Fans around the world have been watching live as elite athletes have been smashing freediving National and World Records.

The live broadcast was back online briefly during session 2, after missing session 1 of the final day. However soon after the feed went offline again.

When the outage first occurred the team posted the following update on Facebook:

The first session saw Sayuri Kinoshita (Japan) break the World Record for women’s Free Immersion (FIM) with a dive to 97m.
