Ocean Technology Systems unveiled some new and innovative products at this year’s DEMA Show in Orlando, Florida.
Specifically, they introduced three new surface station versions specifically designed with rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, giving more power for greater range, ensuring that the units will keep you connected when you need it most.
Some of the new features are:
• New smaller, lighter and tougher housing
• New multi-color LED battery indicator
• New transducer cage
• New push on/off squelch button
• IP66 water rated handled microphone
• Removable lid with removable whiteboard
• Included custom OTS backpack to store complete unit and up to four diver units
The POWERCOM 300s surface station has a range of 3000 meters/9842ft, 25 watts of output power, four channels and 16 hours of battery.
The POWERCOM 500s surface station has a range of 5000 meters/16,404ft, 35 watts of output power, eight channels and 33 hours of battery.
The MILCOM6000S surface station, with a range of 6000 meters/19,685ft, has 70 watts of output power, two channels and 26 hours of battery life.
All of these stations have a push-to-talk transmit activation.
These products will be available on the OTS website and will retail for US$3,499/~€3,588, $4,999/~€5,126 and $5,999/~€6,151, respectively.
