REEF has announced the introduction of two new marine life identification curricula.
The newly available guides are:
- Fishes of the Red Sea.
- Fishes of the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary (FGBNMS).
The announcement brings the total number of different curricula available for REEF to 15, and each one delivers a host of tools to aid and assist instructors teaching the curricula. Materials include:
- A USB drive with survey materials and fish images.
- A slate, photo ID card, and underwater paper.
- Simple to use Teaching Curriculum.
- Level 2 Surveyor quiz.
For the new courses, REEF created new starter kits and a survey paper for the FGBNMS regions, and a new Fish ID card for the Red Sea.
