Sea & Sea USA, the leaders in underwater imaging, has teamed up with Divers Direct to present an entry-level underwater Imaging contest. The "It’s a Snap" Photo Safari and contest will take place in the warm, diver-friendly waters of Key Largo, Florida from November 5 through 9, 2003.
Participants will be able to use underwater digital and film cameras (film to be provided) and have their work entered and judged by professional photographers. A staff of underwater photographers will be on hand to provide coaching and mini-seminars for contestants, making this a hands-on learning experience.
Prizes include SEA&SEA USA gift certificates of $1,000 Retail Value (Grand Prize), $500 Retail Value (1st Prize for both digital & film categories), $100 Retail Value (2nd Prize for both digital & film categories). Additionally, winners will have their winning photographs displayed on the SEA&SEA USAand Divers Direct websites. The contest will also include an award ceremony for contestants.
The 4-night package includes accommodations at the beautiful Marina Del Mar Hotel. Divers can enjoy 3 days of 2-tank dives with Ocean Divers of Key Largo where they will have use of cameras and be eligible for prizes & giveaways. Members of the Direct Rewards program are eligible to receive Direct Rewards points by participating in the event.
The cost for the "It’s A Snap" contest is only $430 (per person, dbl occupancy). Non-divers can join the fun for just $224.
