Snorkeller recovering after shark attack

An 18 year old Dutch girl suffered severe lacerations after being attacked by a hammerhead shark whilst snorkelling at Apollo Reef on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.A spokeswoman for the Cairns Base Hospital said Sunday that "she’s in a stable condition" It is likely that the girl will be in hospital until Tuesday (AEST).This attack follows the death of an Australian man after an attack from a bull shark in Queensland river.
