Thrilling Final Day at the CMAS 14th World Freediving Indoor Championship

The World Freediving Championship concluded spectacularly on July 9th, with the Dynamic (DYN) discipline delivering astonishing performances and setting new world records.

The athletes competed for the championship titles and aimed to qualify for the XII World Games in Chengdu, China, 2025, where freediving will be featured for the first time.

Senior Categories Reach New Heights

In the Female Senior category, Mirela Kardasevic from Croatia set an impressive new world record with a breathtaking 282.00m performance, securing the gold medal. Julia Kozerska followed closely as Vice Champion with a silver medal-winning 277.00m dive. Livia Bregonzio from Italy clinched the bronze and set a new world record in the M1 Masters category with a 263.50m dive.

  3. Livia Bregonzio (ITA) – 263.50m WR (M1 Masters)

In the Male Senior category, Guillaume Bourdila of France emerged as the new World Champion with an astonishing 300.00m dive. Goran Colak from Croatia took silver with a 286.50m performance, while Ming Ying from China earned bronze with a 284.50m dive.
