Scuba Diving Magazine has announced the list of winners for its Through Your Lens photo contest.
This year’s 17th version of the annual event features images captured by divers worldwide in multiple categories, including:
- Behavior
- Compact Camera
- Macro
- Wide Angle
The winning images are selected based on originality, beauty, and the uniqueness of the encounter or composition.
Commenting on the competition, Andy Leisner, the Chief Consumer Officer for PADI Worldwide, stated:
“Our talented and inspiring dive community submitted 1,719 photos from around the world that captured the diverse beauty of what lies below the surface. From the striking image of a French angelfish to the perfectly-timed shot of a coral spawn in action, these photos highlight just how important it is for PADI Torchbearers™ to continue to create balance between humanity and the ocean, and to show adventurers the unique world that awaits underwater.”
