Volunteers needed to Dive In!

“Greetings from the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL),

Tens of thousands of ocean lovers from around the world will be celebrating Earth Day underwater this year by Diving In, April 15-22. 2002 marks the third year of “”Dive In To Earth Day””, a global event that encourages people to join together and take action to help protect our planet’s aquatic resources.

CORAL would like to invite you to show your love for the marine world and help make a difference by organizing a Dive In activity in your community. It’s easy. Anyone can do it! Dive In activities are organized locally by students, non-profit organizations, community groups, dive shops, aquariums, teachers, scientists and other marine enthusiasts.

Last year, more than 200 people organized Dive In activities in 46 countries, engaging approximately 32
