If you can’t get enough of diving with a closed-circuit rebreather rig and want to meet other like-minded souls, a really good place to do so would be at next May’s “Innerspace” event put on by DiveTech in Grand Cayman.
Thing is, more than 70 percent of this past May’s attendees have already booked and paid for next year — to be held May 20-27 — so you better hurry and book your spot.
The week-long Innerspace 2017 will be held at the Holiday Inn Resort, with guest speakers and instructors as well as lots of rebreather diving, of course.
If your significant other wants to come along but isn’t really into the whole rebreather thing, he/she will be able to take advantage of the resort’s watersports and jetski rentals, tennis, pool bar, and other amenities.
Innerspace 2017 will be chock-full of seminars on new products and emerging technologies. As for the diving, you’ll be able to explore the deep walls off Grand Cayman.
Rates for next year’s event will be: CCR Diver — US$3300/2914 Euros per person based on double occupancy. For Open-Circuit divers it’ll cost $2100/1854 Euros, and the rate for non-divers will be $1800/1589 Euros.
