Wetpixel and DivePhotoGuide, two of the leading underwater imaging website around have teamed up with DEEP Indonesia, Indonesia’s first-ever Diving, Adventure Travel and Water sports expo to launch a truly international Diving Photo Competition
Photographers will compete in 7 themed categories to win photo equipment, dive gear, premium dive travel packages to some of the top photo destinations in the world, and more! Dive packages include trips to Wakatobi, South Africa, Vietnam, Malaysia, Bali, Palau, Philippines, Grand Cayman and the Red Sea! The contest includes a category for images that focus on conservation and the marine environment, one specifically for entries taken by compact digital cameras, and one specifically for Indonesian entrants.

Winners will be announced online and displayed during the DEEP Indonesia Expo in Jakarta, Indonesia (February 8-11, 2007) and 15% of entry proceeds will be donated to marine conservation efforts.
