The Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF), an international non-profit organization that is dedicated to the women who shape the world of diving, will host a "Duck Derby" fundraiser in Houston, Texas on October 14th 2004. The proceeds from this event will benefit their scholarship program. 
The "Duck Derby" fundraiser is both an entertaining and exciting event that consists of a Ducktail Party (casual attire/hors d’oeuvres/no-host bar) with a Best Dressed Mallard Contest, a Corporate Sponsor Mallard Race and then a Public Ducky Race, where flocks of rubber duckys float across the pool waters for trophies and cash prizes (1st prize is $500.00)! Winners need not be present to win.
WDHOF invites individuals and business to sponsor a Mallard and promote their own unique image. WDHOF supplies a generic mallard… sponsors supply the creativity! Each mallard sponsorship includes: two tickets to the Ducktail Party, participation in the Best Dressed Mallard Contest and Sponsors Mallard Race.
