Learn the amazing sport of breath-hold diving (more commonly known as FreeDiving)
in the stunning 30m dive tank in Portsmouth, UK. The Submarine Escape Training
Tank (S.E.T.T) is a unique experience in the world with 34 Celsius / 94 Fahrenheit
warm water that you can dive in all day.
Our experienced instructors will lead you through an AIDA certification course
that will provide you with the basics in FreeDiving and equip you to be relaxed
and
comfortable in the water. Without the use of underwater breathing apparatus,
FreeDivers on a single breath of air can explore the underwater world for
minutes
at a time with relative comfort.
The course is perfect for beginners who are interested in learning the sport
of FreeDiving.
The Course
We run a 2 day weekend course at the tank. Combining classroom theory with
practical exercises in the tank. The course will run from 08.30 to 16.00 on
both days. At the end of the course students will qualify with a AIDA (International
Association for the Development of Apnea) * Freediver qualification.

Guest Instructors
In addition to our highly experienced FreeDiving Instructors we also have
guest instructors come and teach at the facility at certain points in the year. Guest instructors currently
