If you’re the type of underwater shutterbug who likes taking pictures with the least amount of dive gear, the folks who organize the In Water Photographer of the Year contest are now accepting submissions for 2016.
As organizer Martin Toole describes it:
“A yearly in water/underwater based photography competition that is based around taking photos on one breath, freediving, snorkelling, spearfishing, surfing, or by any other means in open or man made water, as long as the photographer has no extra gear on them.”
The deadline for submissions is the end of December, and more information can be found at inwaterphotographeroftheyear.com.
