The Blue Wild Ocean Adventure Expo got underway today in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the convention’s founder says she expects attendance will exceed last year’s convention.
“I hope for 5,000” attendees, Sheri Daye told DeeperBlue.com.
Last year’s attendance was 4,300, with exhibitors spilling out into the parking lot of the Broward County Convention Center.
This year, the main hall on the ground floor is housing the whole shebang, with more than 160 exhibitors ranging from freediving and spearfishing instructors, equipment, and apparel makers to stand-up paddle boards to boats to even a demonstration pool as well as marine art.
The Blue Wild continues through Sunday, April 24. For more info, check out thebluewild.com.
