The Abingdon Foundation has long offered a series of sponsorships to empower women, and while historically many focused on aviation, the foundation is now offering its second annual diving scholarship.
The foundation is seeking women interested in diving for the scholarships. There is no requirement to be a diver or even have a minimum number of dives, just a strong interest in diving.
Scholarship winners receive the following:
- Full registration to an Industry leading conference (ex: DEMA).
- Round-trip airfare.
- Room and Board for the duration of the conference.
- Access to seminars and networking events.
- Winners will also be introduced to leading figures in the industry.
The deadline for the applications is September 30th, 2019, and the winners will be announced on October 14th, 2019.
