Apeks Aqua Lung showcased its limited-edition regulator at this week’s DEMA Show 2014 in Las Vegas.
First launched last month at the Birmingham Dive Show, the Black Sapphire XTX200 is a limited-edition regulator with only 5000 being available. The flagship of the Apeks regulator range, XTX200 is the definitive blend of style and high performance. Every detail has been carefully designed to offer a regulator of the highest quality.
The Black Sapphire features an innovative Diver Changeable Exhaust system (DCE), which gives the diver the ability to change from a small exhaust tee to a large exhaust tee. It also gives the user a choice between a wider exhaust tee for minimal bubble interference (essential for underwater photography) and narrow exhaust tee for a smaller, more compact and comfortable regulator.
The Black Sapphire first stage has five low-pressure ports and two high-pressure ports with braided flexi-hoses that are lighter weight, more flexible and more durable.
