Argentine Freediver Ludmila Brzozowski Sets South American Continental Freediving Record

Ludmila Brzozowski of Argentina recently set a pair of new records in the Dynamic No Fins (DNF) and Dynamic With Fins (DYN) categories at an AIDA pool competition in Peru.

Ludmila set a new South American Continental DNF freediving record of 142 meters/466 feet.

According to a December 3 post on her Facebook page, Ludmila wrote:

“Gold medal, goal overcome and a team win. Thanks [to trainer] Eloísa for strengthening my spirit and helping me believe in myself: We achieved this together! And thanks to all those who sent us good vibes!”

The following day, Ludmila set an Argentine national record with a 150-meter/492-foot Dynamic With Fins swim:

“First time that I use bi-fins, and while my legs felt the effort from yesterday, it felt terrific to do this distance.”

Congrats to Ludmila from the DeeperBlue.com team, and here’s to your continued success!
