Organizers for the Asian Freediving Cup to be held this coming June have announced the first list of confirmed male and female athletes for the event.
The June 8-10, 2018 event is the biggest depth competition in Asia with 60 athletes so far confirmed, eight judges and two competition platforms. Bohol, Philippines-based Freedive Panglao is organizing the event.
China will have the most athletes at 19, followed by South Korea’s 10, five from the Philippines, four each from Belgium and Japan, three each from Hong Kong and France, two from Indonesia, and one each from Colombia, Denmark, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.
Be aware that this isn’t the final list, and things could change between now and June.
