Seven-time world record holder Mandy-Rae Krack (nee Cruickshank), and inductee into the Women Divers Hall of Fame, arrived in Cayman yesterday and has begun training dives for the 4th Annual Cayman Freediving Competition.
This year’s event will once again have pre-competition training, a 7-dayAIDA World Recordable Competition as well as PFI Basic, Intermediateand Advanced Freediving Courses. This competition has expanded to seven days of competition to include the divers’ choice of 3 depth (non-sled) disciplines and 3 pool disciplines inany combination they desire. PFI says that this competition is open to anyone who wants to see what they can do in80 degree F water with 200+ft visibility, and all the safety they need togive it their best. Divers with a static apnea hold as low as 1 minute and a personal best dive to 15m/50ft,or have a 10+min breath hold and dive over 100m, are all welcome.
The overall winner is the highest point scorein ALL 6 disciplines with awards for best individual disciplines.

- Constant No-Fins
- Free Immmersion
Thiscompetition will be AIDA Ranked and world recordable.
This year they are also be holding PFI Instructor level courses.
