DiveNav has announced that its new Dive Computer Buddy project has launched on Kickstarter.
The Dive Computer Buddy (aka DCbuddy) is a Bluetooth Smart adapter that allows a diver to retrieve logs from his dive computer using their tablet or smartphone allowing divers to download their logs almost immediately after a dive.
Dive Computer Buddy will support most of the dive computer models available on the market. Dive Computer Buddy is compatible with DiveNav ‘s divePAL dive log program. Additionally, DiveNav is collaborating with third party vendors of diving log applications to enable them to integrate into their products support for Dive Computer Buddy.
