Resorts World Bimini In The Bahamas Offering New Dive Package

If diving the Bahamas has been on your bucket list, the folks at Resorts World Bimini are offering a pretty tempting dive package.

Resorts World Bimini in the Bahamas sits on North Bimini, the closest Caribbean island to the U.S. (only 50 nautical miles off the coast of Florida).

The property is home to a brand-new Hilton hotel, as well as the largest marina in The Bahamas, a casino with panoramic water views, a rooftop infinity pool and nightclub, a wrap-around lazy river pool, and six restaurants curated by the Bravo Channel‘s Top Chef Season 3 winner Chef Hung Huynh.

Right on the property, you’ll be able to take advantage of Bahamian tour operator Bimini Undersea. The resort’s new Dive in Bimini” package offers savings for diving experiences like an excursion to dive at the 100-year-old SS Sapona shipwreck as well as diving alongside a wild pod of dolphins or hammerhead sharks with 10 percent off room rates and a 10 percent-off voucher for a dive excursion via Bimini Undersea.

SS Sapona shipwreck

This package is bookable through December 24th, 2016, and is valid for stays through December 28th, 2016. Starting rates for this package are US$192/171 Euros per night.

  • John,
The Sapona is a great shipwreck. At most, 20' feet deep and 10' feet in the inside. For you thrill seekers, you can climb the Sapona and jump off the bow ... a whopping 30' ft jump ... it is lots of fun for kids and adults.

Regarding Resorts World Bimini, the hotel is great bargain for $192/day but the management is a bit disorganized but you can arrange a dive trip through a local company to the Sapona and a shark encounter for about $89/person
