Herbert Nitsch to dive in the Emirates

Herbert Nitsch, world champion freediver and the world’s deepest man is coming to the UAE to do a film shoot. Bringing along with him a safety diver from the UK, Herbert has been asked to perform a thrilling sled shoot for an upmarket brand of 4×4 vehicles.

The freediving community in the United Arab Emirates is humming with excitement at receiving this internationally renowned and respected sportsman. Herbert’s current record stands at a No-limits dive of -214 metres of depth, using a weighted sled, and also -112 metres using just fins (termed as Constant Weight category). Herbert also is former record holder of a static apnea record of 9 minutes and 4 seconds.

Herbert is welcomed warmly to the UAE and divers are expected to clamour to see him.
