JBL Spearguns Unveils New Bands Featuring ‘Compound X’

-

The folks at JBL Spearguns have unveiled a new speargun band made with a proprietary elastic formula in it which the company calls “Compound X.”

According to JBL:

“A few years ago, we began a project to develop a formulation that allowed for easier stretching without compromising power. After experimenting with numerous formulas, we finally discovered the ideal mixture, we call it Compound X. Based on a top-secret molecular composition, Compound X bands can be stretched far greater in length than bands of the past.”

The company claims Compound X bands require 20 percent less strength to load without compromising power.

Compound X can be found in the company’s 9/16-inch/14.5mm Nitro bands that retail for US$15.65-$17.25 (~€14.67-€16.16) depending on the length, or the Explorer Series spearguns that retail for $220-$402 (~€206-€377) depending on the length.
