Jonathan Sunnex Announces More Freediving Training Camps

Jonathan Sunnex, one of the world’s deepest men (as well as safety diver, coach and instructor) is returning with his fall schedule of Freediving training camps in the Caribbean.

He previous held camps in Antigua and Dominica back in February and March 2016 (Read our review of his Dominica camp).  This time he is hosting camps in Montserrat and Dominica.

This fall Johnny will be joined by Sofia Gomez Uribe, winner of this years Vertical Blue and Caribbean Cup competitions and current World Depth number one. Sofia is the current South American Continental record holder in all depth disciplines and has made dives to well below 90m. With her background as a competitive fin swimmer, she will be also be providing specialized expertise on monofin technique.

The full schedule is below:

Montserrat

  • Beginner/Intermediate with Aqua Montserrat 19-21 August (3 days)

Dominica

  • Beginner/Intermediate: 29-31 August, 27-29 September (3 days)
  • Training Camps: 4-10 September, 2-8 October (7 days)
  • AIDA Instructor Courses: 14-20 September, 19-25 November (7 days)

Accommodation in all camps will be very reasonably priced with options to suit different budgets.
