The members of the LearnFreediving.com team have announced the winners of their original world record contest, which was launched in conjunction with the attempts that resulted in new world records of Yasemin Dalkilic and David Lee in the Unassisted Constant Ballast category. The concept for the contest was for the participants to try and guess the final individual depths that both Dalkilic and Lee would achieve during their two weeks of training and record attempts. According to Learnfreediving.com member Rudi Castineyra: "The response to the contest was great, we had more than 60 submissions and people really seemed to like the idea. Interestingly though, nobody guesses the final depths correctly, but we had several people who got the right total, so the prizes go to them. This was definitely fun to do and we plan to have more contests like this on future events". The prizes ranged from a free FREE (no pun intended) Advanced Freediver course, to Quantum dive watches to MFC specialized sunglasses. The winners were:
