Meet SPRY, The Latest Airborne Drone That’s Waterproof

-

A new drone, the SPRY, is about to hit the market after a successful crowdfunding campaign raised 300 percent of the target in the first 24 hours of going live.

What makes the new drone unique and a candidate to feature in the next action thriller film is its ability to float, fly and submerge briefly.

Not only can the SPRY do all three things, but its remote control is also fully waterproof, and can be used on land, in a boat or even when you are swimming. The current SPRY has an impressive host of features, including the ability to use video goggles. Other features include:

  • Fully waterproof
  • 17 minutes flight time.
  • Payload bay capable of carrying 340gr/12 ounces.
  • Internal electronic image stabilization.
  • Altitude hold mode.
  • Replaceable batteries.
  • SD card support up to 64Gb.

You can find the SPRY Kickstarter page here, or check out a video below.
