SDI/TDI to Provide a Complete Line of Business Services for the Dive Industry and Instructor Markets

SDI/TDI announced the launch of a complete line of business services to assist dive centers and resorts, individual instructors, travel and charter businesses, dive magazine publishers, dive equipment manufacturers and distributors to achieve their financial, revenue, and market growth goals. Through its exclusive strategic relationship with Net Gain Associates, a premier provider of business development programs, SDI will immediately offer the following training courses:

  • The Sales Process
  • The Customer Service Process
  • The Supervisor Process
  • The Strategic Thinking and Business Planning Process

These processes will help individuals in the dive industry:

  • Increase revenue in any economic environment
  • Achieve excellence in customer service;
  • Raise capital or financing to survive in the dive industry;
  • Plan and implement a merger or acquisition

SDI/TDI will initially include Sales and Customer Service Training as part of its Instructor Trainer Courses and offer, as electives, all of the above-mentioned programs as part of its Instructor-Level Training.

According to Brian Carney, President of SDI/TDI, "Instructors entering the dive industry need these types of skills in order to succeed in a very competitive market, where survival requires business skills that go beyond learning how to teach scuba. SDI/TDI will issue Scuba Business Certifications to individuals completing these courses, and for those completing the complete curriculum, a Scuba Business Degree." All of the above-mentioned courses are supported by high-quality training manuals, workbooks, and CDs. Further information on these courses can be obtained by contacting SDI/TDI directly or visiting its Website: www.tdisdi.com and clicking on Retail 101

Sign up now for the first course being offered at the Beneath the Sea in Secaucus, NJ.
