You know those sleep-overs aquariums do from time to time for kids to learn about the ocean’s inhabitants?
Well, Airbnb is offering a lucky few grown-ups a chance to win an overnight stay at the Paris Aquarium, complete with watching freediving legend Fred Buyle dive amongst the sharks in the aquarium’s shark tank.
“Your home for the night is unlike any other ever built: a peaceful enclosure with a large cylindrical bed and breathtaking, immersive views of your new sharp-toothed friends.”
The available nights are April 11, 12, or 13, 2016.
With a unique location like this, you gotta love the Airbnb house rules:
* No selfies after dark. Remember, sharks are sensitive to light.
* Avoid seeing Jaws before your sleepover. They’re kinder than you think!
* No sleepwalking or night swimming.
* Don’t eat the chum.
* No diving.
* Keep your heads and feet in the bedroom at all times.
* Sheep can’t swim, so count sharks instead.
* Don’t take the bait.
To win, you’ll need to send Airbnb a short, 50-550 character or less essay on why you want to spend a night with sharks in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese and 50-300 characters or less in Chinese (Simplified or Traditional), Japanese or Korean:
“Tell us a little about yourself, where you live and why you belong with the sharks for a night by 11:59 p.m. CET on April 3rd, 2016.”
“Not local? No worries. We’ll fly the winners in from anywhere in the world.”
