Spanish ‘Shipwreck Hunters’ TV Show To Explore The Galician Coast

If you’re a shipwreck aficionado and happen to live in Spain, there’s a new TV show there that might be right up your alley.

A new Spanish TV show, “The Shipwreck Hunters” (“Buscadores de Naufraxios“), is set to explore shipwrecks off the Galician coast off northwestern Spain. The program will be broadcast on the Spanish channel TVG.

With over 3,000 shipwrecks to choose from, the first season will explore 16 wrecks. They are mainly historical and will range from British Galleons from the 16th century to 19th-century luxury cruise liners. The program will also feature the wrecks of large merchant vessels that sank at the end of the 20th century.

Experienced divers will guide the audience through the wrecks to bring their stories and history to life.

Even if you don’t speak Spanish, looks like there’ll be plenty of underwater video to ogle.

You can check out the trailer here or follow the program on Twitter and Instagram.
