Tusa Reef Tours in Australia is relaunching with a new focus on sustainability and exclusivity.
The parent company Entrada Travel Group announced the move in Cairns, Australia. After the relaunch, the company will commence outer reef tours, providing an excellent all-inclusive experience.
The trips will include great diving and feature a team of marine biologists and guides to provide the most innovative and educational adventure above and below the water. Also, guests will gain far more of an understanding of the reefs’ ecosystem and the fine balance on which they rest.
Commenting on the relaunch, Entrada Travel Group Chief Operating Officer Genevieve Wardleworth stated:
“We are tremendously excited to unveil a new era of luxury Great Barrier Reef day trips with the launch of Tusa Reef Tours, which seamlessly blends exclusivity, sustainability, and education. With a renewed focus on environmental stewardship, we aim to redefine the luxury travel experience, showcasing the Great Barrier Reef to visitors, while actively protecting its future.”
In addition to the new tours, Tusa Reef Tours will offset all its carbon emissions by supporting reforestation in the Widgewah Conservation Sanctuary project in Victoria and the Mabi Forest in the Queensland Tablelands.
Commenting on this, Wardleworth added:
“We’re really excited to be partnering with Reforest and introducing what we hope will be many meaningful ways in which we can measure, reduce and mitigate our impact. We have made conscious sustainability decisions on food provenance, packaging and even dive equipment, introducing the very latest in plant-based wetsuits that won’t clog landfills in years to come.”
