NOTE: This is an April Fools Joke. Congratulations to all who spotted this!
DeeperBlue.net can exclusively report that the static discipline of breath-hold has seen the 10 minute barrier spectularly shattered with a total time of 14:05 complete cleanly today by a complete unknown in the sport.
Dominic Scanlan LeFarce has seemingly come out of no-where to not only snatch the 10 minute mark but to spectacularly drive past the current World Record. The record was set in Thailand at 01:04 PM local time.
Speaking exclusively to DeeperBlue.net after the record Dominic explained his tremendous life story leading up to this new record.
He was raised in a Russian orphanage before being adopted by an Egyptian monk who was later killed in an airplane crash in the Dhaulaglri mountain region of Nepal. LeFarce briefly attended Oxford before he headed to Tibet where he learned the teachings of the "great poet-saint Lama Milaraspa" and mastered "Pranayama Yoga", the Yoga discipline that concentrates on Breathing. Through his Tibetan Yoga mastery, LeFarce had learned his "incredible breath-control".
We hope to bring you more on this incredible new record and the mysterious man behind it in due course.
