If you’ve ever dreamt of taking a freediving class in the Y-40 “Deep Joy” pool in Italy, now might be your chance.
For the first time ever, World Champion Freediver Alexey Molchanov will be holding a Freediving Masterclass at the Y-40 pool from June 22-24, 2018. He’ll be sharing his training and warmup routines, tips for going deeper, and equalization techniques.
To benefit the most from the class, students should be certified to at least AIDA 2 or equivalent. You’ll also be required to submit a medical report with an electrocardiogram (ECG) signed by a doctor that you’re fit to participate.
The cost of the class is 850 Euros/~US$1000 per person. That pays for the cost of entry to Y-40 for all three days as well as the exclusive use of the 42-meter/138-foot section during pool time. The pool is also part of a resort where rooms can be rented from 50 Euros/~$59 to 85 Euros/~$100 per night, depending on the meals you choose.
If you’re interested, you’d better hurry and sign up. The class size will be limited to 12 participants only.
