Blue Immersion and Freediving Dahab to Merge

Two of the biggest Freediving schools in the world – Blue Immersion in Kho Tao (Thailand) and Freedive Dahab in Dahab (Egypt) are combining together to form a new company under the Blue Immersion brand.  For now Freedive Dahab will continue under that brand name in Dahab and Blue Immersion in Kho Tao.  Any new dive centers will be under the Blue Immersion brand name.

Linda Paganelli, one of the owners of the new joint venture, confirmed to DeeperBlue.com that in the next 12 months they will be looking to open another Freediving Center in Asia and another one outside Asia as well as continuing their bases in Egypt and Thailand.

The new organization will offer both SSI and AIDA Freediving Courses for students, although all instructor training courses will concentrate on SSI.

“We all have been wanting to expand for some time, but being alone doesn’t leave much space for traveling and setting up new places. By being the 3 of us – Linda Paganelli, Lotta Ericson and Akim Adhari and having managing partners in each individual school will give us more time to move around and concentrate in new projects, and of course we will focus mostly on running instructor courses in all locations.” said Linda “We also like the idea of having our guests coming and visit us in different places, and choosing different locations depending on their preferences, but finding the same system and the same people taking care of them.”

More details on the new organization can be found on both Freedive Dahab and Blue Immersion websites.
