The Divers Alert Network is unveiling new courses and diver safety resources at this year’s DEMA Show in Las Vegas.
During the show, DAN will reveal the following:
- Version 3 of DAN’s first aid training courses, which integrates the latest international standards in the course and builds on years of experience. The course covers emergency oxygen administration, first aid skills, and basic life support.
- The new “Safety Tips for Dive Operators” book offers professionals a comprehensive guide to the inherent risks of running dive operations and the best strategies to mitigate them.
- The new “Traveler’s Medical Guide” is the ideal companion for travelers, boaters, and divers. The guide explains the most common injuries and illnesses, including symptoms and treatments, in a simple, easy way for everyone to understand.
