Last Friday’s series premiere of Discovery Channel‘s TREASURE QUEST: SNAKE ISLAND featuring freediver Mehgan Heaney-Grier was the channel’s most-watched and highest-rated, non-spinoff premiere in 2015, according to the company.

The show, which aired at 10:00 p.m., earned a 1.10 rating with 2.24 million total viewers, Discovery Channel said in a press release, adding:

“It was the #1 program on all of cable in its time period across Persons/Men/Women 25-54 and Persons/Men/Women 18-49, no exclusions, and is Discovery Channel’s highest rated and most watched non-spinoff series premiere this year.”
