Freediving-Phillipines Announces Competition

On March 31st for the first time ever Freediving-Philippines is organizing a national Freediving competition in the Philippines. Freedivers from the archipelago and from around the world will come to compete to see who can hold their breath the longest and who can dive down the deepest. The Phillippines are an ideal location for Asian, Australian and Kiwi Freedivers  to train and compete without needing to travel too far. The warm, deep  and protected waters of Moalboal offer the perfect location for deep freediving (no depth limitation) and many new national records should be expected as there are no Filippino national records on the books thus far. As a special attraction there will be also local Bajau freedivers joining the competition in their own and unique divestyle.
Location for the event will be Club Serena Resort in Moalboal, Cebu. More info can be found under www.freediving-philippines.com.
