Johanna Nordblad Swims 50m Under Ice For New Guinness World Record

Finnish Freediver, Johanna Nordblad has swum into the record books – specifically the Guinness World Records – by completing a 50m / 164ft Freedive horizontally under ice wearing only a swimsuit and a mask on Saturday 14th March at lake Päijänne, Finland.

This gives her the Women’s World Record.  The mens record is held by Stig Severinsen who set a 250 feet (76.2 meters) record back in 2013.
