Liquivision presented their new Omnix A.I. (Air Integrated) dive computer at DEMA Show 2015.
The Omnix A.I. builds on the Linx ultrasonic wireless technology pioneered by Liquivision founder, Eric Fattah, and also features the ultra bright and easy to read displays for which Liquivision has become known.
This wireless ultrasonic system can track up to 10 other divers transmitting at a line-of-sight range of up to 330 feet.
The Omnix A.I. comes with a USB charger featuring a 60-hour operating time per charge and a separate battery backup to get a diver through the end of the dive if the main battery does run down. It also features a data download capability via wireless bluetooth communication.
The Omnix A.I. is slated for a spring 2016 launch and will retail at US$1,000 without the tank transmitter and at $1,300 with a tank transmitter.
