New EFR-Approved Diver Emergency Medical Responder Course Launched

The EFR-Approved Distinctive Diving Emergency Medical Responder (DEMR) Specialty Course has officially launched.

The new course aims to fit conveniently in the gap of skill and knowledge that exits between first aid-certified individuals and professional EMT personnel. It will provide students with advanced first aid skills and knowledge.

The new course is conducted in two parts, the first being an online theory section that launched on August 1, 2019, while the second part is the practical section.

Currently, there are two initial practical courses planned, with the first will be at Dutch Springs, PA, and will be taught by Sandy Shaw. The second course is planned just prior to the DEMA Show in November.
