The Women Divers Hall of Fame is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship and training grant program.
A nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and raising awareness of the contributions of outstanding women divers, the WDHOF provides educational, mentorship, financial, and career opportunities to the diving community throughout the world.
Each year, WDHOF awards scholarships and training grants that provide financial and educational support to individuals of all ages, particularly those who are preparing for professional careers that involve diving.
Scholarship and training grant sponsors include Aggressor Fleet, Beneath The Sea, NAUI, Sea of Change Foundation and a whole slew of individuals.
New to this year, applicants can apply for two PADI scholarships — PADI 4 Change and PADI Young Explorer Dive Training Grant for Young Women.
Other new sponsors include Diving Matrix U.K., Human in the System Consulting, and Interdive UK.
If you think you or a woman you know would be a good candidate for these scholarships, the deadline for receipt of applications is October 31, 2017, at midnight U.S. Eastern Standard Time.
