Sara Campbell breaks own UK records

The British Freediving Association has announced two new British women’s freediving records, in both the constant weight and constant weight without fins disciplines. Constant weight has been set to a new depth of 70 metres, an increase of 5 metres from the previous 65 metre record. Constant weight without fins has been set to a new depth of 40 metres, an increase of 10 metres from the previous 40 metre record.

Both were set by Sara Campbell on 21st and 22nd July respectively, at the City of Peace competition in Sharm el Sheikh. The previous women’s record for both of these records were previously held by Sara Campbell.

Sara has also secured the Women’s winner trophy from the UK national freedive championships ( ‘Saltfree Double-Dip’ held at the National Diving and Activities Centre, Gloucestireshire ) held on the 28th and 29th July. She was the top-scoring athlete at this event.
