TAG Heuer announced that Tanya Streeter, the current holder of three freediving world records, has signed a long-term ambassador agreement covering product development, advertising, public relations and merchandising.
"We are delighted to welcome Tanya Streeter to TAG Heuer’s roster of international ambassadors,." says Jean-Christophe Babin, TAG Heuer’s President and CEO. "Like Tiger Woods, Kimi Raikonnen, Marion Jones, Steve McQueen and the rest of the TAG Heuer team, Tanya embodies the core values of the brand: performance, precision and prestige. A true professional, she pushes herself to the limit and has completely revolutionized her sport. This makes her an ideal representative of the TAG Heuer brand, and we look forward to working with her closely on the design and development of a whole new generation of TAG Heuer Series 2000 diving watches."
Tanya has broken 9 world records, surpassing 4 men’s world records, a feat that had never been achieved in the history of any sport before.
"TAG Heuer played a key role in my Turks and Caicos dive," says Tanya. "I was wearing a TAG Heuer Aquagraph, a professional diving chronograph approved by the US Navy SEALS and capable of descending to 500 meters (1,640 feet).
In diving, mastering time is crucial. Having a watch you can rely on in even the most extreme conditions isn’t just a necessity; it’s absolutely vital. I am greatly honoured to be a part of the TAG Heuer team, and I take very seriously my commitment to participating in the design and development of the brand’s prestigious Series 2000 line of diving watches."
