Two Freediving World Records to be at Oceanfest

“On May 18th, 2001, Pipin Ferreras, the current freediving World Champion in the No Limits category, will try to establish a New Male Tandem World Record with Loic Leferme, at a depth of 383 feet.

On May 19th, Audrey Mestre-Ferreras, the current Female Freediving World Record holder in the No Limits category, will attempt to break her own mark of 412.5 feet. She will strive to reach a depth of 416 feet.

These two sports records are set to take place off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale, in conjunction with OceanFest 2001, one of the world’s largest events for diving and ocean enthusiasts.
