Welcome to the AIDA World Championships 2010 Okinawa

Organizing this year’s AIDA Freediving World Championships 2010 Okinawa, is none other than the current constant weight (CWT) record holder in Asia, Ryuzo Shinomiya. The freediving competition, to see which AIDA nationals perform best, will take place from June 30th through July 10th this summer in Okinawa, Japan.

Ryuzo has posted a very welcoming website about the competition; informative details on what the athletes should expect can be seen here.

The website also has some terrific videos and even offers a diagram of the pool facilities and how the lanes will be structured for the static and dynamic portions of the competition.
