Wetsuit Maker EVO1 Debuts At Blue Wild Expo

Wetsuit and rash guard manufacturer EVO1 introduced itself to the North American freediving and spearfishing market at this weekend’s Blue Wild Ocean Adventure Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Beirut, Lebanon-based company has been selling wetsuits for freedivers and spearfishers in the Middle East for the past 20-plus years via retailers in Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.

At Blue Wild, Mohamed Kabbani, EVO1’s North American representative, was showcasing the company’s rash guards, fins, gloves and dive socks. The rash guards retail for US$180, according to Kabbani.

The company says on its website:

“The main strength we claim is our background in the sport which allows us to test and modify our equipment to reach the ultimate in quality and performance under the most rigorous of conditions.”
