William Trubridge – Free Immersion World Record!

Dean’s Blue Hole, Long Island, Bahamas – William Trubridge (NZ) set a new AIDA world record in Free Immersion to a depth of 107m in 3’56”.

“The dive was confusing and perturbing for the first bit because there was a tangle of karabiners at the bottom that I had to deal with, but overall, there was less narcosis than previously and it felt good.”

William intends to try again in Free Immersion and in constant weight no fins before the end of the competition.

More later tonight…
