William Trubridge, who set a World Record on April 11, 2007 in Unassisted Freediving by descending to a depth of 82m on one breath of air, without fins, weights or any other form of assistance, has launched his own website. In this purest form of freediving William Trubridge was once the world’s deepest man. He was also the second person to swim through the Arch at Dahab’s Blue Hole without the use of any fins, and this time, without a wetsuit.
This former record holder from New Zealand brings some classy links and information on Vertical Blue.
Vertical Blue is also the name of William Trubridge’s freediving team and Apnea Academy freediving school based on Long Island, in the Bahamas. Courses are held in the stunning waters of Dean’s Blue Hole, where William trains for world record attempts. To view William’s courses you can click here.
