Egyptian Freedivers have successfully launched their AIDA national body with the first meeting of AIDA Egypt in Cairo on the 29th January.
Egypt has had a strong Freediving history – starting back in 1999 when a national team was involved in some of the very first AIDA International competitions.
Despite over 17 years of freediving history, it was only in 2016 that AIDA Egypt was formed and official documents submitted (and accepted) to AIDA International for recognition of the national body.
